Higher Education in Wales

The Minister for Education has clearly outlined in a number of documents and statements what he expects of universities in Wales.

Glyndŵr University is meeting those requirements and in some cases leading the way in Wales. Glyndŵr University is opening up higher education for all who could benefit; it is working closely with employers and is making a significant contribution to the social and economic development of Wales in accordance with its vision.

The University is supportive of each individual’s needs, and will continue – particularly in challenging economic times - to support all students from application to graduation, and into their future careers.

Glyndŵr University is the fastest growing university in Wales according to the Funding Council’s own statistics and is implementing a number of actions which will lead to a major expansion of the university. It is confident that it will meet size requirement set out by the Minister for Education within the timescales.
